TA10 Optical Transimpedance Preamplifier

A range of preamplifiers with excellent noise and bandwidth, to suit most photodiodes. The TA10 is a "Catch all" name for various amplifiers with gain and bandwidth as shown in the graph below

DC to 15MHz for some models
Fully DC coupled with good pulse response
Various detectors are available including fiber pigtailed InGaAs
50 ohm output for driving long cables

Features

All versions have

Discrete FET input stage with midband dark noise near physical minimum (limited by unavoidable Johnson noise in feedback resistor)
Higher frequency noise minimized by using an input device with low voltage noise
Compensation of feedback resistor stray capacitance to give a clean pulse response
DC dark offset correction typically < 1mV
